The Edo University Library Iyamho currently has well over 5000 book volumes in all the disciplines offered in the University as well as other areas of human knowledge. The library has 160 journal titles.
The Library is situated at the Northern wing of the quadrangle of the SS-block on the first and second floor within proximity of lecture theatres, laboratories, and classrooms. This ultra- modern library building is air-conditioned and supported with fans. The Library book shelf occupies the Northern wing of the quadrangle, while the e-Library occupies the Northern wing of the first floor. There is also a computer Laboratory in the Southern wing of the first floor. Each of the e-Laboratory house eighty systems all connected to the campus Network. There is a stand-by 1000KVA electricity generating set which acts as a bank-up system to the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN)). The Library is also supported with solar Inverters to provide 24/7 electricity. The Library building has a sitting capacity for 100 readers at a time and about 120 carrels for faculty staff and research students. The library has been organized to cater for both under-graduate and post-graduate studies:
