Particle dynamics: Kinematics of plane motion. Newton's laws- Kinetics of particles, momentum and energy methods.

Kinematics of rigid body- velocity and acceleration diagrams for simple problems.
Kinetics of rigid bodies- Two dimensional motion of rigid bodies, energy and momentum,

Kinetic energy in general plane motion, power in general plane motion, Mass Moment of inertia, Simple problems, impulse, centre of pressure and percussion, frameworks, Simple harmonic motions.

Fluid Mechanics: Elements of fluid statics; density; pressure, surface tension, viscosity, compressibility etc
