Abstract
ABSTRACT
Environmental stress such as heavy meatls is a major factor affecting reduction in agricultural productivity. Heavy metals at toxic levels hamper normal plant functioning and act as an impediment of metabolic processes by the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS).
