Abstract
The purpose of going to business is to make profit, thus cost minimization and profit maximization one of the objective of management. The more cost is reduced the greatest the profit, thus, the purpose of transportation cost to the barest contribution or profit to the organization. The transportation problem is a peculiar form of the linear programming model, however solve using a different technique apart from the simplex method
